Group Publications
In this section, we share two publications related to the group's research line on soil organic matter and carbon dynamics. The review published in Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment integrates litter decomposition with the formation, transformation, and decomposition of soil organic matter, and explores how these processes may vary across ecosystems, under different management practices, and with changes in the quantity and quality of organic matter inputs. The article published in Natural Sciences Education presents the application of these scientific concepts in a board game, as an educational and science communication tool to explore, in a participatory way, the processes that regulate soil carbon dynamics.
